When I first tried posting using Kablog, I thought it didn’t work. Until I logged in using my PC and saw my post there. So while it didn’t show up on the main area of the blog, it was in the admin area. Examining my post, it showed a timestamp of a later time. Weird. I guess I have to adjust my posts’ time whenever I use Kablog. It’s 8:21pm now. I’m setting this post to noon time and see what happens.

I don’t regret enrolling this semester at the UP Open University though my work schedule has been so tight; continuing (and finishing) college was my goal since I started working (which was 15 years ago).
We’ve just two persons more to move to my new office. And the reason for the “one month” delay is PLDT. They still haven’t transferred the phone lines with DSL, which my department need to function. Yeah, Philippine Looooooooooong Distance Telephone Co., it’s been a month. And it won’t matter if you dodged my calls, because I’m coming to your office today, you bad lineman, you.
Along with the move, I’ve also several projects at work that had been eating a lot of personal time. Last night I saw a comment I made last month on one code reminding myself that I had to finish that project by December 1st. It’s the 5th and I haven’t made any changes to the code! I am so busy, I get to read MLQ3 every weekend only, hehe.
Been striving on reading assignments at school too, and trying to catch up. But, like I said, I don’t regret enrolling this semester.

Jejomar Binay, Mayor of Makati City, placed fourth in this year’s World Mayor Award. I’m not a resident of Makati, but I voted for him on the World Mayor site. John So, Lord Mayor of Melbourne, was at top spot.
The site’s description of him says he is an “…embodiment of a city leader who can inspire the masses and irk the national political establishment. As well as a hard-earned reputation for sound city management, he can point to a leading role in restoring democracy to the Philippines after two decades of dictatorship.”
A definite reason the present administration sees him as a threat.
